Here are some old postcards we came across of the way Ocean Beach Park used to look like in the early 1900's.
Very popular with a pier and gazebo and eventually an amusement park.
DIRECTIONS: Ocean Beach is located in New London, CT. From either direction on Interstate 95, Exit 83.
Follow State Hwy. 1 South a couple of miles till it changes to Hwy. 213. Follow Highway 213 all the way to the end and turn right to enter the park 2 blocks away, you'll be able to see the entrance. You can also follow the blue Hospital signs, which are easier to spot. See you there! During the summer it's $10.00 a car.
