What is a Cairn?
Cairn: 1. a mound of rough stones built as a memorial or landmark, typically on a hilltop or skyline.
2. a prehistoric burial mound made of stones.
The last few photos are of what I believe was a "Prayer Seat" of the Turtleclan. You can see it is split in the middle with 12 large stones placed inside. I love hiking the woods off the paths and that's how I came across these rock formations. Haven't found any with writing on them yet though. Rich
